About the product
Replacing the underwire in a bra? How about replacing the tunnel? What does your favourite bra need in order to perform its function again? Both underwires and tunnels play an important role in a bra. They are responsible for its shape and the correct support of the bust. Bra underwire replacement
The underwires can deteriorate with the use of the lingerie. However, this does not mean that the bra is no longer wearable. It is then worth considering repairing the underwires.
There are two types of whalebone:
Why is it necessary to replace the whalebone?
Replacing the underwire in a bra is necessary for several reasons. Sometimes the underwire is mismatched to the tunnel, causing the underwire to wear down and become brittle at the ends. In addition, the size of the underwire may be too large in relation to the tunnel. If this is the case, the underwires simply come out. Replacing the underwires is also useful if you frequently wash your bra in the washing machine and it becomes damaged (the tunnel shrinks).
Bra tunnel replacement
Replacing the tunnel in a bra is simply sewing in a new equivalent. Tunneling as a result of intensive use, improper washing or poor quality of underwear becomes damaged, shrunken or worn out. It then needs to be replaced.
